This September, families have a fantastic opportunity to explore Wales' rich history and heritage through Cadw's Open Doors Festival. More than 200 historic sites, landmarks and hidden gems across Wales will be opening their doors with free entry, tours and special events throughout the month.
From magnificent castles and ancient abbeys to fascinating museums and sites that are rarely open to the public, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Children can step back in time, uncover hidden stories and experience history firsthand.
