This club promotes Welsh language and culture around the school

Representatives from Year 3 to Year 6 meet weekly with Mrs Watson to promote Welsh and help develop the Siarter Iaith across the school. We have been awarded the bronze Siarter Iaith, so work is underway towards achieving the silver. 

This team help prepare and deliver the weekly Welsh assembly, decide which targets they are going to work on, give feedback on previous targets and discuss how to celebrate any special days or events that may be coming up in our Welsh calendar.  They also help promote a Welsh ethos by encouraging learners to speak Welsh around the school.
